Rigs intended to measure axial and radial forces, and secondary moments generated in CVJ as well as to assess the structure borne noise generated or transmitted by the driveshafts.
Forces and moments are measured by means customized multi-component sensors equipped with multiple 3-component piezoelectric force sensors. The test rig consists of two either torque or asynchronous motors arranged face-to-face (4-quadrants operation) without gearboxes nor mechanical transmissions.
