The crash simulation system type HyperG is an optimized acceleration sled system that, doubling the power of the SCAT, also supports the development and testing of occupant protection systems.
Like in SCAT, the working principle is based on a servo-pneumatic actuator on whose ram acts a high-frequency response servo-hydraulic brake unit to precisely reproduce the desired acceleration pulse in the sled that is moving on the rails.
